Job Summary: Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) is seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to manage and oversee engineering projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of project life cycles, from initial concept through design, implementation, and final delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to mitigate potential project issues.
- Monitor project progress, manage resources, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Prepare project documentation, including technical specifications, progress reports, and final project evaluations.
Candidates must have a 4-year B.E./B.Tech. degree from a recognized institute/university in one of the following engineering disciplines: Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Telecommunication, Communication, or Telecommunication.
Minimum Post Qualification Experience (As on 01.09.2024):
• 2 years relevant post qualification industrial experience. Only relevant post qualification experience will be considered. Candidates should have experience in any of the following areas:
• Work experience in Radars and Communication Systems, High voltage transmitters, Signal Processing will be an added advantage.
• Hands-on experience in using test instruments like network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, Signal generators, RF power meters, etc.
• Experience in preparation of project documents, updating stores database, inspection of electrical and electronic components/spares, coordinating with customers for clearances, etc.
• Work experience in on-site project execution, installation and commissioning of equipment, on-site Product Support activities, etc.
• Candidates should have managed work teams and should have been involved in work planning, scheduling, and execution.
Selection will be through a written test followed by an interview of only those candidates who qualify the written test.
Candidates will be called for an interview in the ratio of 1:5 based on performance in the written test in the respective category.
Project Engineer: Rs. 472/- (Rs. 400 + 18% GST), Candidates belonging to PwBD, SC, and ST categories are exempted from payment of the application fee.
